4. Consultations & Services

Scope of Service

Less & Home provides guidance, support, and motivation in the decluttering and organising process. However, the final decision on whether to keep, donate, or discard any item lies solely with the client.

Please note we do not provide:

• Cleaning services

• Furniture transport or rubbish clearance

• Pest control or deep-cleaning

• Antique or collectable valuations

We’re happy to recommend trusted third-party professionals when needed.

5. Confidentiality & Privacy

At Less & Home, your privacy is a priority. All discussions and decisions made during sessions are strictly confidential.

Photographs may be taken before, during or after sessions — only with your prior written or verbal consent. These may be used for promotional purposes (e.g., website, social media, workshops) but will never include names or personal details unless agreed otherwise.

6. Handling of Items

All belongings will be handled with care. However, Less & Home accepts no liability for loss or damage to personal property during or after the session.

Clients are responsible for identifying items of value and arranging proper storage or assessment if needed.

7. Breaks

Decluttering can be tiring, and we advise taking short breaks throughout the process to preserve energy and motivation.
We will support you at your own pace while gently guiding you with our expertise.
A 30-minute break is required for any sessions lasting over five consecutive hours.

8. Payment Terms & Deposit

To confirm a booking, a £40 non-refundable deposit is required. This deposit will be deducted from the final session cost.

The remaining balance is due at the end of your session, payable by:

• Bank transfer

• PayPal

• Cash

If your session runs beyond the scheduled time, additional hours will be invoiced accordingly.

9. Cancellations & Rescheduling

We understand that life happens. If you need to cancel or reschedule your session:

• More than 48 hours’ notice: No fee. Your deposit is held and valid for one rescheduled session within 30 days.

• Within 48 hours: A £20 cancellation fee applies.

• Within 24 hours / no-show: The full deposit is retained and may not be transferred.

If Less & Home needs to cancel due to illness or emergency, we will reschedule your session at the earliest mutual availability.

10. Access & Safety

Clients are responsible for ensuring that the space is safe and accessible for the session. If serious safety concerns (e.g., hoarding risks, structural hazards) are identified, we may pause, reschedule, or cancel the session for the wellbeing of all involved.

11. Follow-Up Communication

Your support doesn’t end with the session. Reasonable email contact (e.g., for quick questions or encouragement) is welcome up to one week post-session.

For extended coaching, planning or digital help, additional arrangements can be discussed.

12. Affiliate Links (Website)

Our website may contain affiliate links. If you purchase a product through one of our links, we may receive a small commission at no additional cost to you. These recommendations are based on our honest opinions.
